Multi-user swipe card technology now available

The multi-user swipe card allows many people to have their chronic conditions (diabetes, heart failure, and hypertension) monitored remotely by clinicians using a single telehealth unit located in a common area of an assisted living center, group housing facility, or even apartment complex.
Like all of American Telecare’s solutions that enable clinicians to keep patients stable in their homes, the new multi-user swipe card telehealth technology lowers the cost for a group living facility where a common area is available. The new multi-user capability works in conjunction with American TeleCare’s inLifeTMXP patient monitor. Each inLifeTMXP unit accommodates up to 25 patients when used with the multi-user feature.
The inLifeTMXP patient station is an advanced telehealth patient monitor that enables nurses and physicians to track the health status of patients. By understanding how well patients are controlling their chronic condition, the clinicians can, as indicated, modify the care plan and re-stabilize a patient as needed.
The inLifeTMXP features personalized chronic condition specific algorithms, vital sign monitoring, flexible scheduling, and remote management and software update capability. Providers use the system from our convenient web-based provider station software.
